This page explains how the My Prayer Times mobile app (the "App") handles data storage and usage.
The App only stores the following information locally in your device's localStorage:
The App does not collect or transmit personally identifiable information (such as name, email address, or phone number) to a server.
The App does not use third‑party analytics, advertising, or cloud services. If third‑party services are added in the future, we will disclose them here. Currently, no data is shared with third parties.
You can delete or reset the data stored in localStorage using the app's "Reset" or "Clear Data" option. Alternatively, you can clear the app's localStorage from your device or browser. For example, in a developer console you can run:
localStorage.clear()(Note: the command above will clear all localStorage data in the current browser/app context.)
Because data is stored locally on the device, it is not exposed to server‑side breaches. However, local storage is not a substitute for device security — we recommend using device passcodes, screen locks, and any available encryption to protect your device.
As we do not collect or transmit personally identifiable information, many data subject requests (access, portability, deletion) are not applicable. If you believe personal data has been uploaded or exposed unintentionally, please contact us.
The App does not use web cookies. Only the browser or webview localStorage is used for storing the small set of data described above.
We will update this policy here and note the updated date when changes are made. Check the "Last updated" date at the top for the latest version.
